In the first book of the Quest for Eden trilogy, Hod and his friends rescued Mehri from Kron, king of the nephilim, and took her to their ancient ancestor Seth, who would find her the prophesied husband. In the second book Hod and his brother Chay leave their family's new home to visit Mehri's family and report to them what happened on the first mission. They meet their friends Pazel and Kodi and then are charged with a second mission, this time to hide the source of the healing water -- the fifth river that flows underground from the garden of the Eden.

This is the second book in a series that will have a third book coming out in the fall of 2011. I cant wait for the third book. I really enjoyed this book for many reasons mostly because it was just a good story and it was fairly well written. The characters were very real and believeable. There was action, adventure and some romance but mostly it was good v evil. If you enjoy Christian fiction you will want to get this entire series.Product details

The Fifth River Quest for Eden Trilogy Book 2 edition by Jeanne Desautel Foster Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
I couldn't wait to read the continuing adventures of Hod and his friends as they fight the dark forces of the nephilim and their king Kron. I loved all the underground passages and threatening dangers. The writing is exciting and descriptive. I'm going to get the next book right away!
This second book of the trilogy is every bit as spellbinding as the first. The blend of Biblical fact and fictional supposition make for a very intriguing book. I would recommend these books to anyone who loves a good book with some good old imagination expertly blended with Biblical fact..
AWESOME BOOK.. LOVE THIS SERIES!!! My was broken right in the middle of the third book. replaced my , registered it for me, charged the device, and placed all my ebooks on the new !!! I opened the the book to the exact location where I left off!! Great book, Great company, Great experience!!!
Enjoyed the whole series - well worth the $$. I kept it on my and expect to reread it and enjoy it all over again in a year or so when I've forgotten some of the details. The Author uses lightly mentioned Biblical figures and locations and expands them as well as adding her own main characters and plot in a 'keep you glued to it to finish' manner.
